Yesterday I received a wonderful e-mail. I was informed I won a review contest. It seems my review of Dracula in Love so moved a friend of mine that she nominated me in a weekly contest hosted by Lesa at End of Story, Next Book. I am still not sure what I won, but recognition like this is always welcomed. Lesa has a nice blog and her contest is a nice why to learn about well loved books. She is looking for nominations, visit her site and nominate one of your favorites; it can even be one of your own.
Speaking of contests I want to thank all my new followers for taking the time to check me out and the book Dracula in Love. I wish I had more to giveaway. We have one more week before the contest ends so don’t forget to spread the word. Maybe if we get a lot of people interested I can talk Karen into giving me another book to giveaway.
I went back to work and school today. I thought I was ready for work, but it sure wore me out. I was very moved by what I found at my desk today. There was a funny card signed by everyone plus two gift certificates. One was a $30.00 Borders card the other a $40.00 to Target! I have no idea what I will buy with these cards but will have fun figuring it out. What would you buy at Target? Would you buy something fun or would you stock up on household supplies? I am not sure what I should do and would love suggestions.
