Wow! Those must be pretty new because I've never seen anything like them and It's only been a couple of years since last used public transport to get around the city.

Thanks everyone. These are just two of a line of historic cable buses that are in use in San Fran. I took this shot after having dinner in Fisherman's Warf. There is a bright yellow one I tried to take a picture of, but it took off just as I hit the button.

It was fun seeing visiting SF in 2000. Saw the street cars but not these buses?

@Oneday, these buses are up and running around the Warf. The city refurbished them a few years ago. They are very popular, almost as popular as the cable cars. @RNSANE, thanks for stopping by and leaving your link. I became a new follower because of your header. @Diane, the buses may not have been around in 2000 but again they are found running around Fisherman's Warf.
