Midsummer’s Night Dream, Thug Notes style!

Happy Hump Day everyone! This is been quite the week so far. I received a promotion and moved over to state law enforcement to run the Permits section. As much as this makes me happy, I’ve got to say, moving into a brand new position can be taxing on the brain. I’m lucky if I can form complete sentences when I get home at night, never mind coming up with some social commentary or a book review. Speaking of reviews, I’ve got some catching up to do, so look for those later in the week.

How about a little fun? It’s been well over a year since I shared Professor Sparky Sweets with you all, so what better week than this to bring him back? Let’s all sit back and let him school us on a Midsummer’s Night Dream.

I try something new

Today marks the end of Shakespeare in Community, a Coursera short class. It was interesting to explore a new-to-me MOOC (Massive online course). As part of our last assignment we were asked to present something using a medium we’ve never attempted before.

I’ve never attempted to make a Youtube slide video, and to be honest, up until this afternoon, I had no idea how people did this. Thankfully my higher brain functions kicked in around 2, and I realized this is accomplished using Power Point.

I surprised myself by getting this together within a short time, and without using any swear words. I thought I would share it with you even though it’s a little silly. But then again, after this week, I think we could all use a break. Hey, I thought about loading up a cat video…
